NetMind Token (NMT) is a digital asset used within the NetMind platform, which offers decentralised AI solutions. NMT is utilised for transaction fees, accessing services, providing incentives, and participating in governance. The token supports a secure and transparent ecosystem for AI-driven applications.

NetMind is a decentralised compute platform designed to aggregate and monetise GPU power for use in AI training and scientific computing. The project creates a distributed network of GPU resources by allowing individuals and organisations to contribute idle or excess GPU capacity to the network. In return, contributors are compensated for their compute power.

NetMind introduces a permissionless marketplace where compute demand and supply meet, facilitating cost-effective access to GPU resources. The platform aims to solve the shortage and high cost of GPU infrastructure, especially for training large AI models and performing complex scientific tasks. Users can deploy workloads via the NetMind protocol, which manages job allocation, compute verification, and result integrity.

A key architectural component of NetMind is its decentralised protocol layer, which coordinates resource allocation and ensures reliable output. It integrates elements such as federated computing, trustless verification, and decentralised governance.

NMT is the native utility token of the NetMind network. It plays a central role in the operation and coordination of the decentralised compute marketplace. Its primary functions include:

  • Payment for compute: Users pay in NMT to run AI training or scientific computing tasks using network-contributed GPUs.
  • Incentivising contributors: GPU providers earn NMT in exchange for offering compute resources to the network.
  • Staking and validation: Participants may stake NMT for roles such as validators, which support verification and coordination mechanisms.
  • Governance: NMT is used to participate in decentralised governance, including protocol upgrades and resource allocation policies.

NMT supports the economic layer of the network, ensuring alignment of incentives between workload issuers, compute providers, and network validators.
