DeFi
DeFi, kurz für dezentrale Finanzen, stellt eine Verschiebung im Finanzsektor dar, indem es Blockchain-Technologie, hauptsächlich Ethereum, nutzt, um traditionelle Finanzintermediäre zu eliminieren. Es ermöglicht verschiedene Finanzanwendungen, von einfachen Transaktionen bis hin zu komplexen Verträgen, durch Smart Contracts, die automatisch unter bestimmten Bedingungen ausgeführt werden. Zu den wichtigsten DeFi-Anwendungen gehören dezentrale Börsen (DEXs), Stablecoins, Kreditplattformen und Prognosemärkte. DeFi bietet Finanzdienstleistungen wie Darlehen und Zinsmöglichkeiten ohne traditionelle Identitätsprüfung, sondern verlässt sich stattdessen auf Sicherheiten, üblicherweise in Kryptowährungen.
