Grayscale Investments inizia lo scioglimento del trust XRP citando la causa Ripple SEC
Grayscale ha affermato che i proventi in contanti derivanti dalla liquidazione XRP del Trust saranno distribuiti agli azionisti del Trust.
Grayscale Investments, il più grande gestore patrimoniale di valute digitali al mondo, annunciato ha avviato la dissoluzione del suo Grayscale XRP Trust a seguito della decisione della Securities and Exchange Commission degli Stati Uniti causa legalecontro Ripple Labs sostenendo che il token XRP è un titolo ai sensi della legge federale sui titoli.

- Proventi in contanti dalla liquidazione del trustXRP saranno distribuiti agli azionisti, ha affermato Grayscale , senza fornire stime sui proventi.
- 8 gennaio SEClimature indicano che il trust XRP ha raccolto 19,2 milioni di $ da 70 investitori nel corso dei suoi quasi tre anni di attività. Non era chiaro quanto valesse il fondo al momento della liquidazione.
- Grayscale ha attribuito la causa alla SEC del dicembre 2020 contro l'emittente di XRP, Ripple Labs, che ha incassato 1,3 miliardi di dollari in vendite di token dal 2013. Tale causa ha creato un ambiente di mercato ostile per XRP.
