Why Texas Winter Storm Had 'Positive Impact' on Bitcoin Mining Operations
Justin Baillard, CEO of Wyoming-based Bitcoin energy solutions provider JAI Energy, discusses the "very positive" impact of Texas' winter storm on the Bitcoin network, and what it reveals about the state's power grid. "[The storm] does show that miners can provide a base load for the grid," Baillard said. "There's really not a better option to do it with, other than bitcoin mining."
