BIT Mining invierte otros 11 millones de dólares en un centro de datos de minería de Cripto en Ohio
Los fondos se utilizarán para añadir 65 megavatios adicionales de capacidad energética.
La empresa de minería de Criptomonedas BIT Mining (NYSE: BTCM) está invirtiendo otros 11 millones de dólares en el sitio de Ohio que está desarrollando con Viking Data Centers.
- BIT Mining dijo que 9,8 millones de dólares se pagarán en efectivo y el resto en efectivo o acciones.
- Esto se suma a los 12,4 millones de dólares que acordó invertir en septiembre.
- La inversión elevará la participación de BIT Mining en el sitio al 55%, mientras que Viking al 45%.
- Como resultado de la inversión, la capacidad energética del sitio aumentará a 150 megavatios (MW), frente a los 85 MW planificados originalmente.
- Las empresas esperan completar el proceso el 31 de marzo de 2022.
