Signal Founder Hacks Phone-Hacking Tool Cellebrite
As CoinDesk's Ben Powers puts it, Signal has narc'd on the narcs. In a recent blog post, private messaging app Signal creator Moxie Marlinspike announced he hacked Cellebrite's phone-hacking tool and found it full of security vulnerabilities. Cellebrite is a digital intelligence platform that works with law enforcement and governments worldwide, including authoritarian regimes, to extract private data.
